The procession continued from the Plaza de Armas to all the the major cathedrals, of which there are more than 33, one for every year that Christ was alive, in this city known as as "Sevilla Peruana" for its religious festivities of Semana Santa (Holly Week) and "Ciudad de las Iglesias" (city of the churches).
