A feverish Christian revival in the mountain city of Ayacucho, Peru, (lat -13.1548°, long -74.2044°, Altitude: 9,202 Feet) where there are high number of processions and Catholic churches, peaking out with the holy week of Semana Santa in May (overly dramatic promotional video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pwdhC_xu-w). This particular revival was held in an auditorium, with a full marching band and a tambourine choir calling for people to come in and join in the worship service. Unknowing, we wandered in to the scene and found ourselves caught in the madness.
